Eligible employees will receive time off in observance of annual holidays.
MIHS regular status employees who are in a FTE of 0.75 or greater will receive 8 hours of holiday pay for each of the following legal holidays:
New Year’s Day
MLK/Civil Rights Day
Employees who are in a FTE of 0.5 – 0.7 are eligible for a prorated amount of holiday pay. Non-benefited employees are not eligible for Holiday Pay unless they work on the legal holiday or observed holiday as defined in the MIHS Employee Leave Plan.
